Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ScriptRoom.io and all related services (collectively, “ScriptRoom” or “the Service”), operated by ePalm, LLC (“ePalm,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

ScriptRoom is a software platform that helps users structure, script, refine, and rehearse spoken talks using a library of speaking frameworks combined with artificial intelligence content generation. ScriptRoom provides drafting and rehearsal tools. It does not provide professional coaching, legal, medical, financial, or other licensed professional advice.

You must be at least 16 years old to use ScriptRoom. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@ddduniversity.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

ScriptRoom offers a free tier and paid tiers, including a one time script unlock, a one time lifetime access purchase, and recurring monthly subscription tiers, as described on our pricing page at the time of purchase. Prices are shown in euros and may include or exclude VAT depending on your location, as displayed at checkout. One time purchases (script unlock, lifetime access) are charged once, at the time of purchase. Subscription tiers renew automatically each month at the then current price until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We may change prices for future billing periods. Active subscribers will be notified in advance of any price increase affecting their subscription.

Under EU consumer law, you ordinarily have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. Because ScriptRoom delivers digital content immediately upon purchase, this right no longer applies once you have expressly requested immediate access to a paid script, refinement, or feature and expressly acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. This acknowledgment must be captured at checkout, before payment is completed, through a clear checkbox or equivalent confirmation.

Each plan includes specific monthly or lifetime limits on talk generations and refinements, as described on our pricing page. Limits reset according to the schedule described for your plan and do not roll over unless explicitly stated.

ScriptRoom's frameworks, software, branding, and underlying technology are the property of ePalm, LLC and its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of ScriptRoom's frameworks, software, or brand assets to you. Content you generate through the Service using your own inputs (“Your Output”) belongs to you upon generation. You are responsible for how you use it, including reviewing it for accuracy before relying on it publicly. You grant us a limited license to store and process Your Content and Your Output solely to provide and improve the Service to you.

ScriptRoom uses artificial intelligence to generate outlines, scripts, and refinements. AI generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or content that requires editing before use. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and rehearsing any content before delivering it in a real talk, presentation, or professional setting. We do not guarantee any particular outcome, audience response, or professional result from using ScriptRoom.

You agree not to:

• Use ScriptRoom to generate unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or infringing content
• Reverse engineer or scrape the Service or its frameworks
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the Service and, for subscriptions, cancel at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability, will survive.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that AI generated content will meet your specific requirements or produce any particular professional outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ePalm, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

You agree to indemnify and hold ePalm, LLC harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles, and without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence if you are a consumer located in the European Union. Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer protection law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a new effective date, and, for material changes, active users will be notified by email or in app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
